Keyaki. Light sweetness, citrus hops, grapefruit, soft easy drinking. Bitterness. Good.

It's hard to fully appreciate a session after so many weeks of stronger fare

Clear golden, just about right carbonation. Aroma light, herbally hoppy. Taste reveals lots of earthy hops, not too fruity but more damp, even skunk - not in a bad way but well, not my favourite hop profile. Body is light and bitterness is bright, quite crisp actually. Drinks well and again, this has to be cold and on a hot summer day would work wonders.

Amber, bright, filtered. Very chewy old school taste. Like an amber ale with a few extra hops. Disappointing.

Spring Keyaki 2014. Clear to lightly cloudy yellow straw color with a small white head. Great aromas of grapefruit, floral hops and mikan. Taste is full of the same with some yeast and arugula as well. Really nice bitter session with a peppery finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Hop Seduction Session IPA on 07 May 2015 at 19:25 - Score: 7

Tap at brewpub. Hazy yellow color, small white head. Gooseberry bushes in the nose. Light-bodied. Flavor is similar to aroma: gooseberries. Light yeastyness. Decent session ipa. Chinook, Mosaic. 4.5 %

This was a good attempt at a session IPA, but I found the body too watery and unbalanced, though good hop character, and very refreshing. I think this is still something that can be improved upon.

Tap at Bungalow. Great tropical fruit and citrus nose with sweet biscuits malts. Light but full body. Light mango and durian flavors, a little stinky, grapefruit. Maybe a bit too gassy, but really lovely.

At the Dig Bar Y Market Event. Part of my 3,500 yen 5 beer M size set. A cloudy light gold pour. A thin filmy white head. A very fruity resinous hoppy nose. Medium bodied with a zesty light carbonation. The taste is spritzy citrus, fruity hoppy goodness. The body is somewhat light & the taste possibly had hints of cardboard but it is overall a solid hoppy session ale.
