A very strong ale - if that’s what you’re looking for. As far a tripel goes? Not sure. Perhaps a domestic wannah bee but it needs more manners to be civilized like the real thing from the old country. Somewhat unrefined finish. It’s 10% and you know it, wew.

4oz pour at Churchkey DC. Pours a clear gold with some swirling white head. Nose has perfume, peach, grass, hand lotion, candlewax, honey. Flavor is sweet, honey, malt, some candy, chrysanthemum tea, a flick of lemon. Clean finish. Easy drinker for 10%.

Bottle from the Box of Belgians. Malty and very fruity, honey, nice spicy yeast. Starts a bit sweet and biscuity but finishes rather dry and well attenuated. Low bitterness and no huge hop character, but balanced and well done American tripel.
