Sampled on draft at Dad’s Pub this beer poured a dark golden color with a medium sized foamy orange-white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was malty and bready and a bit dry with notes of perfume and floral hops. The flavor was malty and bready with perfume and floral hops. Medium length finish. Not much of a Belgian presence. The alcohol was well contained. Moderately full bodied.

From a bottle this beer smells slightly sweet. First taste is cutting astringent citrusy sinbad. As session continues it gets more like very green grapefruit rinds. Yes, piercing back of throat thing happens fer a while. Real mouth coating happy BS.

4 oz. sample@ Amesbury Ale House. Hazy gold with thick soapy head, thick lace. Particles and floaties swimmer around the haze. Aroma and flavor run hand -in -hand.
The front of the sip is Belgian yeast, bright citrus, candy sugar and a floral hop burst in the finish. Light cracker malt brings a nice balance that equals the dry floral and bright citrus. The bitterness only lingers for a short duration after the sip. Dry texture with a lightly yeasty, bitter finish. Medium body and carbonation. This is a well-made “Belgian” IPA. Well crafted, very tasty.

Bottle from the Box of Belgians. Deep golden color with a solid head. Lemony nose with light honey and biscuits and light spice form the yeast. Good solid bitterness. clean, light and refreshing with great drinkability. Very nice.
