Tap at CBM Jinbocho as Yuzu Fresh! Yuzu and wheaty aroma. Spice and bit of banana type yeastiness. Some kind of saison like herbal element. Very refreshing and pretty nice. A pleasant mix of different styles elements.

Can thanks to Tim. Pours a clear yellow color with a medium white head. A big citrus floral nose. The flavor is lemon lime, big oranges, some salty sour notes. Quite nice.

big frothy white head. The nose is not so sharp, but relatively smooth. The body though is fantastic. Tons of malt, Yuzu spicy, really well balanced. Lingering ginger Yuzu finish. Very different take on Yuzu beer

Beer Herun’s Yuzu Fresh on tap at Bungalow. This beers is a slightly cloudy straw gold with a fluffy eggshell white head of foam. The nose is spicy Belgian wit cloves, light banana & mild yuzu. The taste is quite nice, not complex but tasty spicy cloves, banana & yuzu zest. The yuzu is subtle but it’s there, nicely done. A really top quality white beer, I’d say it is midway between a Belgian wit & a German hefeweizen but is 100% delicious. I was told this was a belgian wit made with yuzu, I didn’t get much saison like out of it beyond belgian yeast notes. Possibly as I’d just had the Coedo Setsugekka Saison this came off less saison-like though neither are regular saisons.

Tap at BBS 2014. Nice yuzu and spicy yeast nose. Cloudy golden pastel color. Wheaty malt flavor, bready. Crisp, clean, good. Nice use of the fruit.
