Can from Taniguchi, just bought it for the brewery tick. Served in a weizen glass. It pours a fairly clear deep gold with a foamy beige head with good head retention. Looks more like a US style Wheat beer than a Belgian Witbier which is usually much cloudier & lighter in color. The nose is a big yeasty sweet fruitiness that veers towards grapes. The mouthfeel is nice soft & round on a medium body, quite possibly the palate is the best part of this beer. The taste is not terribly witbier at all, mostly fruity yeasty with some mild chemical cheap bubblegum. I agree with KyotoLefty, this beer is just harsh flavor-wise. Not a witbier at all, ugh. Not infected but badly made with a harsh bizarre aftertaste. Pass on this...

Can from Taniguchi. Last of the 4 (sigh). Bright gold like a pils, low head. Nose of orange peel, light wheat, slightly vegetal. Lightly spicy, with hoeny malts. Extract all the way. Bitter and harsh, with slightly estery sweetness, orange. Earthy, bitter, harsh. Not infected, just obviously made from extract and the harshness is everywhere.
