5%, 30 IBUs, saphir & challenger hops. On tap at brewpub, 780 yen tasting set. Seasonal bought to contrast with the APA. It has the same pale gold color as the other two beers but the aroma is quite Belgian with big spicy notes with cloves & Saison like esters-no hops in the nose at all, just a clean Belgian style brew. The taste is more of the same a straight up spicy Belgian beer with possibly a tad more bitterness than your typical Belgian. Damn good but not really a pale ale. As a Saison or standard Belgian it’d get high marks, as a pale ale I expect it to be hoppier. Tasty as hell though.

Tap at Hop Revolution 2013. Spicy Belgian yeast, somewhat too yeasty, but dry and fruity as well. A touch of veggies in there. Ok.
