Poured from a bottle courtesy of popery. Aroma is rather fruity with a nice raspberry note. Some medium oak notes with a nice red wine character. Pours a murky, reddish brown with a medium sized, tan head that lingers for a bit. Light lacing and small legs. Flavor is moderately acidic with medium light raspberry notes. Some medium red wine notes with light oak. Light bitterness. Malt is a bit flabby and the raspberry is fading some. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice beer but its aged a bit past its prime. Raspberry is still fairly present. Nice red wine and oak notes.

Bottle shared by Aaron at RBWG 2014 grand tasting, thanks! Pours a deep cloudy amber with a tan head that dissipates completely. Aroma is full of blueberries and raspberries that are slightly tart with light funk and a bit of grain. Flavor has more sour berries that grow in acidicness with a nice backing funk and a bit of earthy grain.

Incredibly sour! Lovely fruit profile, tart, acidic and sweet. Looks nice in the glass but maybe a bit old at this point. Generously shared by Colin at Hill Farmstead. Would love to have had this one fresh.

Bottled. Huge raspberry nose, acid, funk, wood. Very nice. Cloudy, dirty red-brown with lace. Quite sour flavor, nice fruit, wood, minerals, acid and vanilla. Quite nice, though a bit unrefined.

Bottle at a Chriso tasting, London - many thanks to Bill. Pours cloudy, grapefruit pink with a fine, off-white cream head. Old raspberry in the aroma, light puke, tart berries. Strong, sharp sourness in the flavor, light to medium sweetness, big tart raspberry character. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sharp tart finish, moderately dry, with lingering fresh berry tartness. Great stuff.
