33 cl. bottle @ home. Procured from Willems. 2013 edition. Pours a hazy to murky orange with a small white head. Nose is huge thick yeast, thick wheat, touch lemon in the nose. Taste is thick yeast and wheat, lemon peel and faint canned lemon pie (totally a real thing strangely), faint lime, not much else going past the chunk of yeast which is sweetish and chunk of wheat. Thick yeast body. I keep getting these Belgian which basically tasted like bottled yeast and I am still totally not getting the intend, they are usually not terrible but who really is looking for this in beers. Why can they not like De La Senne ferment it al out to get a crisp and dry beer which is a pleasure and an ease to drink?

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, golden colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Moderately yeasty, fruit-accented aroma of citrus and lemon-peel with a mildly wheat-malty touch, spices and flowery notes. Sweet and slightly sour flavour, medium to light bodied with a spritzy carbonation. Solid malty and wheaty base with yeasty and spicy notes, fruity accents of citrus and peels; sweet and slightly sour-fruity finish, moderately spicy with flowery notes. 29.I.13
