Mabi Chikurin Sasa (ささ) 5% This small bottle is I believe exclusively for JR souvenir type shops whereas the regular bottles are 500ml and have a simple black label saying ささ. An orange brown with a fleeting beige head. It’s got a decent hoppy aroma and some caramel undertones which combined with the look say Pale Ale to me. The taste is malty sweet, like cane sugar and some bitter biscuits. Medium to full bodied and relatively smooth. It’s ok and I guess an English Pale Ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught at the Ji-Beer Festa in Hiroshima, 2012. Nice glowing orange color. Estery, fruity nose with peach, melon, mango. Very sweet, malty, fruity flavor. Esters, peaches, almost no hops. Ok flavor but unbalanced.
