Bottle at home. Aroma is ripe dark fruits, dried fruits, plum, raisins, liquorice, malt, yeast, caramel, toffee, spicy notes, some nutmeg. Flavour is sweet with a little bitterness in the finish. Body is medium. Rather heavy sweetish spiced winter beer. Okay.

0.33 l bottle from 'SpeciaalBierPakket.nl', bottled in October 2024. Very dark ruby with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, gently fruity, slightly yeasty and even a bit vinous aroma of raisins, cherry, molasses and hints of red wine. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, gently yeasty-spicy and slightly vinous-fruity taste of molasses, chocolate, raisins, cherry, some vanilla, light red wine and hints of oak, followed by a short, moderately bitter, minimally woody finish. Medium to full body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Pleasant winter warmer, rather saturating and rich. Hardly get the juniper though.

Creamy tan head left a spotty cover on a deep mahogany coloured body. Make, caramel & chocolate aroma. Medium bodied, creamy with a cloying back. Chocolate, roasted, raisin & liquorice tastes with a fruity finish. Very tasty.
