Keg at the Kennedy School, 9/9/23. Nitro. Black, large brown head, good retention. Aroma of roast, chocolate. Taste is chocolate, roast. Well balanced.

Clear dark brown with a medium sized tan head, good lacing. Aroma of roasted malts and coffee. Taste of roasted coffee, ashy with a mild bitterness in the finish

On nitro at Bend pub. Pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is roast malts and some sweetness. Taste is as the nose reminds me of Guinness.

On tap at the Rock Creek location. A pretty solid Guinness clone. Pours a jet black color, nitro head. A sweet malty nose with metal and roast. Light, smooth metallic roast flavors, some toast and caramel. Clean and tasty,

Nitro at Market St. Black and shiny with a typical nitro head. Nose of roasty milk coffee, light chocolate and a bit of spice. Light and thin, with a bit of cardboard but nice dry roasty flavors of coffee and wood and a dry, lean finish.

From tap at the Seattle brewpub. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted dark malty. Dark malty, roasted and somewhat bitter. Ends dry and dark roasted malty with a light bitterness coming through. Smooth chocolate into the finish.

Draft at Roseburg Station. Nose of coffee and light chocolate. Very dark brown with a medium glass lacing beige head. Flavor of chocolate, coffee, and light pepperiness. Finish slightly sweet chocolate.
