89 yen beer brewed in Belgium & imported by www.fujitrading.co.jo/ihq/ It pours a clear mellow gold with a thick foamy head that leaves behind decent lacing. Grainy, grassy aroma. Medium-light bodied, smooth mouthfeel with a light effervescent carbonation. The taste is maize, cotton candy & grainy sweetness. Quite sweet but actually not terrible. Color me surprised this didn’t completely suck! After it warmed up though some vegetal + catpiss notes started to show up...

Can, near its drink by date. Grassy, citrus hop aroma with honey malts and a bit of mineral. Not bad at all in the nose. Golden with a thin head. Bready malts with nice flavor hops in the mouth. Grass and lemon. Not much bitterness, but a little. Oily, rich palate, though a bit watery too. Pretty decent for the price (about ¥100), though I wouldn’t want to drink much. I think the aging might have made it better. I wonder if this is really an ale...?
