Served in a plastic Ikea glass under the cherry blossoms. It pours a beautiful clear orange-gold with a think foamy head that leaves behind really nice lacing. It really is aromatic with a solid floral spicy component from the hops & an appetizing biscuity quality from the malts. The beer’s medium bodied while the taste wasn’t as satisfying as the aroma. It has a sweet flowery kick at first then a rough malt graininess rather than the biscuit I was expecting which ends on a mild slightly mouth puckering bitterness. As it warmed up, more of that malt biscuitness came through but remained slightly rough. I’d probably classify this as a pale ale. The aroma is great, that first taste matches it but then it kind of loses it’s way. Decent enough though.

Bottle from Liquor Mountain in Kyoto. Nose is vegetal hops, earthy, yeasty, light malt. Deep copper to amber with a high, fine head. UsualNagahama yeast taste, with earthy hops, caramel malts, dry fruits, amd decent bitterness. Decent and a bit strange, but all their beers are lately tasting the same. This one is a bit less flavorful than usual. And way more vegetal.
