A lighter ale brewed with very select pale malts and mildly flavored with a blend of special hops. This beer is exceptionally smooth, crisp and very drinkable with a rich gold color.

Bottle. This beer was awful. It smelled skunky, tasted skunky. It was just a bad beer. It also says it is an "ale". I thought "pilsener" was a lager. Anyway, not very good.

Originally rated December 2004. My parents brought me back a 6-pack of this brew from the States. Poured a pale yellow colour with a white foamy head that left a good amount of lacing. The aroma I got was mostly grainy (right after the pour - and not much after that). The taste was mildly of malts and grasses. The aftertaste that kicked in after a while was rather sweet-tangy. Maybe better then Coors Light... but not sure ?!?!!

12 ounce bottle from Total Wine in Richmond, VA. Pours a clear amber color with a medium head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma is dirty grain. Taste is fairly foul... pale grainy malts and something a bit like salty meat. Faint grassy hops. Thin, watery and highly carbonated. Poor effort.

January 2009 Beer of the Month Club

Overall Impression: It's a slightly citrusy Blonde beer, it's fine if that's your thing, but it ain't mine. For it's style its solid I guess, hence the score (which was pretty generous). Anyway, not really my kind of beer, but I certainly finished the bottle.

Thanx Wayne.. simple .. not much to it .... orange tinged light amber with an off white head that shrinks as low as it can go ....light citrus aroma along with some yeast that has a sour quality to it ....light refreshing body yet watery .... flavor is similar to aroma but even more sour..... easy to drink though until the finish finishes ..... it could be worse i suppose

Draught, Charlotte Airport
Pale straw colour. Not much nose - slighty fruity. Really husky, and sticky sweet. Lots of fruity esters, but no hops for them to play with. Too sweet. Major conceptual problems.

Sampled from draft at the Carolina Beer Company in the Charlotte airport during a layover at 9am in the morning. Clean attractive aroma. Typical pale yellow american lager appearance but it does have plenty of streaming carbonation within. Creamy thin head. Grassy hay and lite straw, not bad. Friendly and easy to drink. Nice session brew. Has a slightly dull finish but overall very enjoyable. No offensiveness at all.

Light grain aroma, maybe wheat. Cloudy pale golden pour with a light and good lacing. Watery and almost flavorless. Fantastic honey finish though. There’s no initial punch whatsoever, but it’s still very enjoyable and drinkable.
