6 pack at home. Clear amber colored. Nose is light caramel. Tastes of thin caramel, malt, tea, leaf litter, red fruit. Very thin. Boring

Bottle from Harvest Market. Pours a crystal clear medium gold color with a smallish white head that quickly dissipates. Aromas of bready caramel malt and light earthy hops to counter. The flavor is what I expected from the aroma. Sweet bread and caramel with hints of fruit and earth. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a slick sweet mouthfeel. Serviceable ale, reminds me of something I would have been really into about 10 years ago, but today its just ok.

From tap at Cheers, Boston. Pours clear and golden deep orange with a small tan head. Roasted malty and slight fruity. Breadish and slight caramelish. Mild fruity and roasted malty finish.

Pours bright deep gold into a shaker. White head quickly recedes to hug rim. Sweet caramel aromas. Crisp and dry with upfront caramel malts and an abrupt marshmallow yeast finish.

A gold amber ale with a thin white head. A light biscuity malt with light diacetyl notes. In mouth, a dry malt with fruity esters, buttery notes. A flawed ale. Tap at 11th Annual CNY Brewfest, Feb.5 2007.

2004 Draft @ black cow in Hamilton MA. Pours a nice enough ruddy reddish-orange a bit on the lighter side, with some light haziness. Good thick cream colored head. Smells of caramel and hops. Flavor is pretty basic, similar to Smithwicks, though not as much hops, quite malty and sweet, good caramel flavor but nothing really stands out that is terribly interesting. Medium body.
