Light hops and spicy rye. Clear gold with a rich beige head. Malty and a touch of spice with a balanced bitterness.

Aroma of lime, sour dough bread, citrus, a little bit of tropical fruits as well. Taste is sweet, sour, only slightly bitter and very round.

F: big, light tan, good retention. C: gold, hazy. A: tangerine, orange, bit mellow tropical fruits. T: orange, orange peels, bit tropical fruits, toast, not very fresh feeling but partially enjoyed, medium body and carbonation, lack some special character, 33cl bottle from Supercor supermarket @ Rua de Aleixo da Mota in Porto.

33cl Bottle at some hip veggie restaurant in Cascais. Hazy golden orange colour, off-white head. Aroma of yeast, citrus, orange. Flavour is medium sweet, light malty, orange, citrus, light spicy, yeast, hint of plastic, bitter finish. Light bodied, a bit fizzy. Decent but not exciting.

Hazy blond with thick fluffy head. Aroma has nice citrus peel. Light freah hop notes. More hoppy lager or APA than IPA.

Bottle @ hotelroom, Lisboa. Pours Golden with a huge white head. Aroma of light malt, fruity hops, peach, melon, kiwi, light citrus. Flavor is light bitter, light malt, bitter fruity hops, light citrus, light sourness. Medium body, lively carbonation, light bitter finish. 260417

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 21B-Rye). Bottle 33 cl - Batch 170018RYE (BBF AGO18). AROMA: predominant medium hop aroma with notes of pine, green mango and slight canteloup melon. low and slightly sweet neutral malt background. APPEARANCE: dark orange color and hazy. medium ivory head with good retention. TASTE: medium-low hop flavor with notes of pine and resin, followed by a medium-low neutral malt background with rye notes of the same intensity. medium-high bitterness with a dry and bitter finish. PALATE: medium-low body with medium-low carbonation. no astringency. OVERALL: a regular rye IPA that would benefit from a more complex hop aroma and flavor.
