Bottle at the December THT. Poured a hazy dark brown with a thin off white head. The aroma is massive oak, caramel, vanilla, light roast, light fruit, some alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter with a smooth rich woody light fruit palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Still here, THT December at deanso’s! Black with light tan head. Deep roasted malts, quite sweet, massive wood. Licking a plank. Big tannins. Over medium sweet, light bitter. Over medium body, bit grainy feel. Nice woody syruppy roasty finish. Like.

Bottle at THT. Almost black with beige head. Lots of roasted notes and ash, lots of tannins and red wine, coffee, grape skins, oak, vanilla, some Rooibos maybe but more subdued than in the regular one. Medium sweet, bitter and light sour. Over medium bodied. Too much oak for me but still a nice beer.

Black with creamy head. Aroma and flavour have some light smoke and a hint of chocolate. Very dry from the barrel. Pleasantly warming.
