Rhubarb sour IPA.
En dag fick Tempel fint främmande ända från Umeås mörkaste hörn. Bryggverket kom förbi och tillsammans bryggde vi SURPÉNE, en sur IPA med rabarber. Ölen är mycket fruktig med tydliga men inte dominanta rabarbertoner, relativt kraftig syra och en balanserande sötma.

Clear golden appearance. Aroma and flavour have some grassy hops and lemony citric notes. Lots of pale malts in the finish and aftertaste.

Tap. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is wheat, rhubarb, orange. Taste is rhubarb, wheat, lacto, yoghurt, orange. Silky mouthfeel. Nice, but a bit one-dimensional.

Botella 33 cl IX cara ratebeer en Cimmeria 10..04..2017. Lote (b3) hasta 16..07..2017. (r45). Color ámbar amarillento anaranjado turbio con espuma blanca. Sabores maltosos y cereales algo ácidos y cítricos con amargo final seco algo resinoso también algo cítrico. Cuerpo ligero con bastante espuma en boca. Amargo final entre ácido y cítrico persistente y seco. Normal.

Almost clear gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and fairly dry. decent fine carbonation. Thin malts. Nice mildly tart fresh orange and tangerine and lemon. Little sherbet. Fruity crisp finish. Refreshing and livening.

Shared at the December THT at deanso’s. Hazy orange pour with a thin white head. Notes of bitter fruit, citrus hops, rhubarb, light unripe tropical fruit.

Bottle shared courtesy of and with a slightly enraged (but willing to share) Malaysian stink badger at the December THT. Cloudy dull golden with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, lemon, herbal hops and tart light fruit. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and bitter with a lemon acidity. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle at THT. Hazy light golden with white head. Sour grains, quite some hay and grass, light rhubarb, lime peel, light wheat and bread crust, spicy yeast. Light sweet and sour and medium bitter. Medium bodied.

Bottle at the December THT. Poured a murky straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma is yeast, grassy hop, tart fruit. The flavour is moderate bitter light sour with a light dry hop, tart rhubarb palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

THT December at deanso’s, still. Hazy golden with white head. Sweet malts, lemon, funky yeasty, rhubarb, light dank weed, bit milky. Medium sweet and tart. Medium body, slick and low carbonation.
