Tap at MBCC2017, Copenhagen. Color is dark brown with small brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Coffee, dark chocolate, chili and roasted malts.

Mbcc, yellow. Poured near black with a thick off white head. Bourbon in aroma, roastedness, tobacco notes, licorice. Massive. Licorice, some chili burn, roasted malt, chocolate and wood.

Draught @ MBCC 2017. Pours pitch black with a sticky dark brown head. Aroma of roasty malts, syrup, bourbon, toffee, oak, vanilla, spices and pepper. Taste is heavy, spicy and sweet with some roastiness, dark chocolate, coffee, syrup, chili and bourbon. Finish is sweet, sticky and syrupy with some roastiness, coffee, bourbon, oak and warming chili. Heavy stuff.

04/03/2017 sample of a 75cl bottke gently offered by Danny @ ACBF. Dark brown to black with small tanned head. Nose is sweet dark malts, black fruits, caramel, bit booze. Taste is sticky sweet dark malts, dark fruits, very syruppy, caramel, soft licorice, vanilla and when you start thinking "oh, no chillies, the burn gently comes up, warming you together with the alcohol. Bit too sticky sweet and thick syruppt to really drink, but damn full of taste and nice to serve in small glasses as a liquor.

750 ml bottle (2013) at the Mikkeller Bar (Viktoriagade), Copenhagen. Black color with small brown head. Aroma is roasted malty, chocolate, light vanilla and wood. Taste is sweet and mostly bitter, roasted, chocolate, light spicy, vanilla. Full body, creamy, flat carbonation.

Bottle 750ml. [ As Three Floyds Dark Lord Russian Imperial Stout (Bourbon Barrel Aged De Muerte) ].Clear dark black color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly lasting head. Aroma is heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, earthy - chili fruit, moderate vanilla - bourbon. Flavour is heavy sweet and bitter with a long long duration, chocolate, earthy - chili fruit, oak - dry wood, light burnning finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic. [20140501]

Bottle - Vintage 2013 - Molasses, chilli peppers and dark roast coffee. Jet black with almost no head. Sweet barrel notes, sticky sweet and a nice flavourful chilli that adds heat on the throat. Too big and bold, no balance just a ton of flavor.
