Bottle at home, thanks to Sharon for picking up, 04/05/19. Clear reddish amber with a decent light beige cap. Nose is biscuit, caramel, light dried fruit, pinch of spice, brown bread. Taste comprises caramel, candied orange peel, toasted malts, fruit loaf. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with moderate bitterness. Ok easy drinking amber.

On cask at the Haymarket. Appearance - a beautiful autumnal red and a creamy head that sits beautifully. This is how a beer should look. Nose - delicate and elusive. A hint of citrus and toffee. Taste - biscuit malt and ripe apples. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - yeah good beer. Got more Bitter attributes than those I’d associate with ipa.

Cask (Forth, Newcastle) - Copper red in colour. Raisins, caramel and some metallic hints in the aroma. Malty and fruity taste with notes of raisins, malt and toffee. Not what the name of the beer suggests.

Cask @ Palace, Leeds. Nicholsons Beer Festival ale that is copper with a glow. It has a thin creamy head with a malt-hop character which is robust but well balanced. Has a sweet aroma.

Cask handpull at The Blackfriar London. Clear reddish amber beer lasting beige head. It’s a slightly malty British bitter. Not too exciting but ok. Malt is very malty and is a little cloying maybe. Just about ok

Cask at Haymarket Bar. Pours clear amber, decent just off-white head. nice lacing. Light fruit aromas, plus something floral. Taste has caramel malt and more floral hop bitterness. Medium bodied, but a little thin, not bad.
