Tap at the Catfish, Melbourne. Poured a clear golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is grainy malt, grassy, light tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a crisp, malt, light fruity, dry woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Pint on tap at Basement Brewhouse, Bankstown. Cloudy brown beer with solid white head. Looks like traditional English bitter. Smells like malt biscuits.
Smoky toffee flavour, full-bodied. Finish has subdued pine and nuts. Quality beer, well made and beautifully balanced.

From a 330ml bottle on 8/9/2016. Pours a deep golden with a small head. The aroma is a combination of caramel and biscuit malt with some fruity hops. Taste wise, there more caramel and biscuit and some citrussy sweetness. The hops are pretty firm and feature a bit of pine and resin. The body is fullish and the carbonation moderate. Pretty good.

A ripping IPA with fat biscuity, caramelly malt and loads of resinous pine hops. Great palate, good length. What’s not to love?

On tap at Royal Albert, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out faded piney and herbal hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with piney hops, some herbal notes and biscuity malt. Well-constructed, easy-drinking. Solid.

From bottle. Citrus aromas with hint of biscuit. Pours slightly hazy golden. More malty than I expected making for a full-bodied IPA. Hops could be bolder.

Draught on October 17, 2015, at The Australian 11th Annual Beer Festival.Slight hazy orange color, off-white head. Citrus hoppy, a bit caramel taste. Bitter aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Fresh, herbal, hoppy scent.

(Bottle) Slightly hazy amber with reasonable off-white head. Lovely aroma of pine and citrus. Medium body with plenty of lively carbonation. Clean refreshing foretaste with those citrus and pine notes from the aroma. This quickly develops into a pleasant bitter with hints of biscuity malt. The hoppy bitterness is distinct but not aggressive and lasts a long time. Very pleasant.

Bottle, 11C. Amber with a near white head. Aroma of toffee, peach, biscuit, kumquats, pine needles. Fairly light bodied, creamy texture. Sweet with more peach, less caramel and biscuit and a lot more citrus than suggested by the aroma. Still pretty sweet at the end and the bitterness doesn’t cut through quite enough for me. Maybe a little colder would have been better. Not bad at all.
