A golden coloured bitter with 30% rye malt for a quaffable biscuity flavour. Hints of coriander and orange peel are infused with the well rounded floral hoppiness.

Cask at Bree Louise. Very clear amber colour with small white bubbly head Aroma is very grainy and a bit stinky. Quite thin. Taste is grainy, malty. Finish is a more sweet and less skunky. --- Beer merged from original tick of Rye Smile on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:06 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6. Pours a clear orange amber colour with a small loose white head. A sweet malt biscuit aroma with some caramel and ripe fruit. Moderately sweet, caramel, grainy biscuit malt taste with a citrusy hop bitterness in the finish. Nice.

Cask @Tree Folk’s (Rome). Pours golden with a fine and creamy foam. Aroma of malt, corn, fruity notes (apple, peach), lemon zest. Taste is well balanced, bread, cereals with a decent hoppy end. Light body, flat. Quite good overall.

Cask at the Rose and Crown, Sandhurst. Straw in colour with a loose white head; citrus aroma with some grain in the background; citrusy, grainy taste - certainly rye; and a dry bisucity finish with some lingering mandarins. Pleasant and easy drinking, unlike wome rye beers I’ve tried.

Casked. Pale copper coloured, bubbly head, which vanishes quite quickly. Vegetables, caramel malts as well as slight hoppyness in aroma. Grassy and hoppy flavour with some sweet caramellish malts in it. Quite wellbalanced. Rather thin.
