On tap at Barley in Nishinomiya, March 2008. Rich and rather complex bock. Black, rather fragrant, with well-roasted malt similar to a stout. Rather sweet with caramel, raisins, and chocolate, but with coffee too. Nice, but more roasted than a bock really should be. Nice enough, though.

@ GJBF 2007. Enjoyable aroma of roasted sweet malts, some fruit, cocoa, and molasses. Flavor is a little more roasted than the aroma, nice molasses, cocoa, fairly malty, and raisins. Some alcohol in the finish. A very nice offering.

Man I was expecting Sakura in this beer, but lucky it is only a reference to the spring season when you can see sakura. Dark chestnut color, burnt raisins and dark fruit and a just a touch of alcohol in the nose. All the flavour in the beer just falls in your mouth to the bottom (very strange). Strong dark fruit, with chocolatey mouth. Dried apricot winey finish.
