Lightly hazy amber beer, tidy pale tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, reasonable carbonation. Smooth caramel that has a light singed taste. Floral caramel and mild paper. Oxidised tasting caramel. Light finish. A grower, ended up okay after initially not liking it.

Ale with lactose, lemon zest & cinnamon. Ridiculously creamy, loving it. Cinnamon spice counteracted by the lemon. Great balance. Delicious.

Bottle from Firma Bier, BB 03 2017, large sample. Hazy copper color, short frothy head. Aroma of caramel and toffee, bit vanilla, bit smoke, bit flowery. Lots of toasted caramelly sweetness, bit vanilla, slight cookie. Quite thick and sirupy. I like this one.

Short-lived, small yellowish head, over hazy red-amber beer. Spicy, herbal nose with rosemary and a tad eucalyptus. Again very spicy. Caramel, but bitter. Pine, and again eucalyptus-like flavour, cola, coffeecream. Sharpish MF and carbonation. Medium bodied. Not my cup of cream.

33cl bottle at home. Dark ruby-brown pour with a thin tan head. Notes of caramel, metal, dried fruits - dates, figs, raisins - milk chocolate, sherry. Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel and a sweet aftertaste.

Flesje gedeeld met Benzai. Troebel donker amberkleurig bier. Aroma is caramelachtig, fruitig. Smaak is fruitig, pruim, en zoet. Drinkt lekker weg.

Bottle @ home shared with Inoven. Hazy red amber color, medium sized off-white head that diminishes fairly quickly. Aroma is a bit faint, some malts and a touch of caramel. Taste malts, caramel again, brown candy sugar, a hint of bitter. Not bad. Medium body and carbonation.

330 ml. bottle @ Billie’s Bier Kafétaria. BBF 03/2017. Dark red brown, little tanned head. Nose is burned caramel, leaves, herbal & oxidized apple. Taste is burned oxidized herbal, herbal caramel, burned leaves, sugar, cough syrup. Oxidized burned sugar. Not the biggest fan, it is sweet but in a burned sugar, burned leaf, cough syrup fashion & less pleasant desert, some oxidation-like notes, didn’t get the orange that is supposedly in here. Didn’t dig it but others adored it so there is that.
