Bottle, 750 ml, shared with JFK10000 and Miro. Pours dark brown with nice off-whitehead. Roasted malts, some coffee, chocolate. light to moderate acidity, seems it’s gone off. Candidate for re-rate.

Tap at Zly Casy, Prague. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is roasty light smoked malt, with some chocolate coffee notes. The flavour is moderate sweet light liquorice bitter with a dry roasty liquorice light bretty palate. Possibly mildly infected. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

330ml bottle from trade with Seblinz. Pours black with small tan head. Aroma has a curious sweetness, milky, berries, floral..? Taste is also hard to pin down. Lactose is present, quite a light body with a strange sweetness, light coffee roast and doesn’t taste at all like a porter. In fact, in a blind tasting I wouldn’t put it down as a dark beer at all. I’m not sure what it is. I’m not sure it even knows what it is. Odd.

Draft at The Wateringhole, Amsterdam. Near black with a thick tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate, cocoa, lactose, caramel and light coffee. Flavour is above moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

0,1l from tap at Craft Bier Fest Wien shared through 3. black color, small tan head. smells lightly sour, spices, light cucumber, licorice, earthy. nice smell overall. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes lightly acidic, some licorice, hints of caramel, earthy notes, some coffee. finishes lightly roasty with earthy notes, light caramel and hints of sourness. a bit weird, but also very very drinkable, loved especially the taste, good stuff.

Bottle. Brown color with creamy beige head. Aroma is cherry, yeasty, ash, chocolate. Taste is more cherry and chocolate, with some roasted malts. Slightly metallic finish and medium carbonation. Ok, not bad.
