bottle courtesy of and shared with Kermis. Thin white head. Massive funky aroma. Tart sourness. Don’t get the oranges. Not my cup of tea.

375 bottle spilt by Willrunforbeer. 2013 Batch 2. Hazy gold, no head. Aroma has a great citrus character with a mild funky yeast. Flavor has citrus though out the sip with a nice level of tartness. Not sour, tart. Has a citrus rind bitterness that also help balance the tartness. Damn, really well balanced! The finish is dry with a refreshing crispness. I could sip this for an extended length of time.

375ml bottle at home. Clear golden color at the beginning, hazy when I poured the rest of it from the bottle, with white head. Aroma is funky dusty bretty, citrusy fruity, orange. Taste is light sweet, sour and bitter. funky and fruity, sour-acidic juicy red oranges.

0.375l bottle from 2013#2 brought home from 2D2dspuma. It fizzes quote loudly this one. On the pour it's cloudy and kinda straw golden in color. Head-vise it's as mentioned fizzing, quickly faded into a thin filmy white thing. It smells really lovely though. Lots of acidic lemons and lemon juice, it's definitely bretted all the way this and I get white currants, gooseberries, green strawberries and it's in general really fruity and inviting on the, what I will call, a lovely nose. Tastes even better! Same this is refreshing! It has a above average, not aggressive but high carbonation level and it feels thin oily in the mouth. Tart fruits and berries goes on in the taste as well. It's so lightdrinkable this. I could probably drink this a whole evening without getting too tired of it. That brett has really done some wonders on this. It has a lingering bitter and slightly sour oranges tail that's not letting go easily. I'm really really enjoying this one! 16.08.2014

Sample at The Source. Hazy golden color with a medium foamy white head that evaporates steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, funky yeast and herbs. Light-bodied with flavors of citrus, berries, yeast and malt. The finish is fruity with a lingering funky citrus aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Bottle from Mikkeller Webshop; hazy golden yellow pour with a bubbly white head, aroma has orange and light funk, taste has zesty citrus, orange, funk, drying, brett, straw, with the right amount of sourness. Yep a great beer.

New Beer Distributors, NYC bottle ($8.50): Pours slightly hazed gold with a white head. Aroma is wonderful brett, citrus, funk, and spice. Really nice aroma. It is fortunately mirrored with precision in the taste. The blood oranges meld with the light sourness impeccably well. The funk is on point. As with most things by this brewery, I cannot recommend it enough.

Bottle pours a cloudy dingy yellow light beige. Full white sandy head but receded quickly. Floral and spicy bitter aroma. Big time sour funk. Rather sharp and perfumey and a little soapy. The Brett sours are a little harder to get used to. Very highly carbonated.
