Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, fruity notes, light chocolate, coffee, hops. Flavour is moderate sweet with a moderate bitter finish. Definitely on the roasty coffee side of Black IPA, like a hoppy Porter.

Tap @BBP, 6.66%. Dark red brown, seems clear, small beige head. Bready, roasted aroma. Caramely, bready flavour, light piney hops. Piney bitterness kind of takes over, but still quite bready.

Dark brown pour with a nice tan head. Mainly aromas of malt and red berries. Tastes of roasted malt, some fruit. The strong roast notes work surprisingly well.

Draught @ the brewery’s taproom, Brussels. Pours slightly hazy copper brown with airy beige head. Clear aroma of malt and fruit, with estery touches. Bitter, roasty flavour with sweet, fruity and estery notes and touches of malt. Roasty and estery aftertaste with citric touches. Reasonable but not really my favourite beer from this brewery.
