Very dark brown pour with a fine-grained tan head. Notes of chocolate, cocoa nibs, cocoa beverage, coconut, cold brewed coffee, toffee, more chocolate. Smooth texture, nice balance of flavours, full body, a warming finish. Very nice.

On tap at Elizabeth Station on Darkest Day III. Pours a very dark brown. Aroma is boozy chocolate, coconaty. Similar taste. Despite it is a bit rough, it's a good stuff.

Tasting at Matt's; 11.54% ABV
Black color. Mild aroma of roasted coconut and roasted malts. Medium body strength, a bit earthy, bourbon is strong, a bit boozy, some coconut, some liquorice, thin final.
Good, but chaotic.

Dark brown. Thin head. There's some roast, with a light sweetness...I perceive this as vanillla but it's probably coconut. Sweet chocolate, with a light coconut accent. So much richer than what's in the nose.

16.9 oz. bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma has toasted coconut upfront, followed by subtle bourbon and some caramel. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of toasted coconut upfront, followed by bourbon barrels and a touch of caramel. Nice mix of coconut and bourbon. Very good.

Bottle - Sweet almost syrup with some dark chocolate. Jet brown with a decent light brown head. Toasted and balanced coconut with lots of bourbon vanilla notes. Nose is a bit harshe but coconut shines with the large amount of bourbon.

Draft pour to a schooner at The Collective, listed incorrectly on half their menus. Strange place hosting a damn good beer. A near black pour, ruby tint. Cocoa aroma, smooth bourbon forward flavor. Body is much too syrupy for my usual taste, but it doesnt take too much away from it. Coconut comes though in the aroma more than anything. Flavor is a soft rich, but very smooth bourbon front. Bourbon, chocolate, coconut. Can't complain. Dangerously smooth. Delicious.
