Very smooth, creamy, light spice. Light booze and light rye weirdness. Fruity in the background. Very enjoyable. Light smoke.

This beer pours dark brown with some amber around the edges, and a medium thick light beige head that diminishes gradually to a film. Patches of lacing. Aroma of coffee, malt and chocolate. Medium to full body with flavors of roasted coffee, rye malt and chocolate. The finish is mildly spicy rye and coffee. Good beer all around.

Level 6 bottleshare. Thanks to Leighton. Almost clear brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth palate, slightly soft, reasonable fine carbonation. Tangy smooth chocolate malts. Mellow coffee. Trace of roast. Smooth soft finish. Mild spicy finish. Not bad.

650ml bottle. Opaque, darkest brown colour with average to huge, thick, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Roasty, chocolately, dark malty aroma, minimally dusty notes of cocoa, slightly disguised hints of hazelnut flavoured white coffee. Taste is roasty, chocolately and nutty dark malty, bitter hoppy counterweight, subtle sweetness, notes of chocolate, some cocoa, espresso, rye spiciness; Long lasting finish. Full body, oily texture, super-soft, smooth, silky and creamy palate.

Very dark brown pour with a tall, fine-grained tan head that gives way to a thin, velvety lacing. Notes of roasted coffee, cocoa, chocolate, mocha, lighty spicy rye, a bit of smoke and a bit of licorice, chicory. Soft texture, medium body and carbonation and a roasty bitter-sweet finish, leaning more towards bitter.
