Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is roasted malt, cocoa, liquorice, with coffee grounds and a hint of dark fruits. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and bitter. Body is a little above medium. Drinks very easily considering the abv. Plenty of chocolate and liquorice, not the world’s biggest Imperial Stout, but quite nice.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Dark brown, small head. Generous aroma of dark chocolate. Sweet with full body and rounded, oily mouthfeel. Lots of dark chocolate, some syrup and coffee. Quite gentle despite it's size, and not a trace of cakyness. Warming finish. Concentrated and solid.

Flesje gedronken tijdens vakantie. Diep donker bruin bier met een volle donker bruine schuimkraag die jammer genoeg snel weg trekt. Aroma van gebrande mout. De smaak is moutig met hints van chocolade. Nasmaak van chocolade.
