Bottle from Cave a Bulles. Pours hazy orange gold with a white head. Aroma is yeast and fruit. Med body. Flavor is mixed fruits, Belgian yeast/spice, maybe some slightly roasted malt. Finish produces even more fruit. Light stone fruits. It’s really quite tasty.

Ambar claro, turbia con un dedo de espuma blanca. Aroma no muy marcado ligeramente frutal. En boca es cremosa y con buen punto de gas. Malteada, base dulce con amargor agradable, bastante equilibrada. Notas frutales y resinosas. Bastante bebible pese al alcohol, que esconde muy bien. Muy belga. Buena.

Dark golden color with a white head with medium duration. Aroma has notes of belgian yeast with bready notes. Flavor is sweet with yeasty notes and some fruity hints. Slightly sweetness on palate with medium duration.

Les trois 8, paris: pours orange with whitenhead. Aroma is honey and fruit and a good bit of yeast. Taste is rather sweet. Some bitterness is present and becomes more so in the aftertaste. Kind of spicy. Not bad but too sweet.

On tap at La Fine Mousse, Paris on 29th November 2014. Hazy copper with thick white decreasing foam and lacing. Sweet fruity aroma with apple and pear prominent. Pungent, earthy, yeasty and fruity in-mouth with sweet apple, citrus and caramel malt. Burnt molasses and toffee flavours in the finish. Rather a lot of sweetness. Zingy mouthfeel and a fair amount of body.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, orangey, deep golden colour with huge, thick, firm, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Fruity malty and fruity hoppy aroma has a premonition of sweetness, floral overtones, hints of peach, a touch of blossom honey (Blütenhonig), some peppery yeasty spiciness. Taste is minimally bready malty, slightly fruity, spicy yeasty with a more than decent bitter hop component, hints of peach and mirabelle; slighly biting bitter hoppy and peppery spicy finish with additional herbal hoppy touch, cautious hints of alcohol. Accurately brewed triple with rather high, but literally complementary, very well matching bitter hop dosis; the Triple character is kept alive and is augmented with a real hop kick, without disturbing nor surpressing the multifaceted, gentle, accompanying flavours. This is a "bantam" masterpiece.
