Beer of mixed fermentation, the Stout Rullquin is obtained from a blending of 7/8 of Rulles Brune (Stout de Gaume) and 1/8 of a blend of 1 year old lambics, which has matured for 8 months on oak barrels. Unfiltered and unpasteurized, this beer is refermented for 6 months in the bottle. Ingredients : water, malt, wheat, hops, sugar, inverted sugar, yeast.

On tap at Ambasada Zagreb. Almost black coloured, small to medium sized pale beige head, dried fruits and mild caramel in the nose. Sour fruity, caramel, light dried fruits and touch of spices with rather dry sourish finish.

On tap at Ambasada. Zagreb. Shared with Plish. Dark reddish brown, small beige head. Aroma is acidic, vinegar, sour fruit, prunes, red wine, aceto balsamico. Funky touch. Moderate sourness, higher carbonation. Powdery texture. Toasty component, dried fruit. Dry finish.

Light brown. Thick head. Just a touch of lambic; this is mostly the brune. Clashy. The tartness isn't helping that brune. Some cherryish fruit, but I'm not seeing what the objective was here...or it's an objective I don't like.

750 ml corked & caged bottle, vintage 2015-2016, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 7.0%. Very dark brown to black colour, large beige head. Vinous aroma, notes of farmhouse, oak and lightly roasted malts. Medium sour flavour, notes of brettanomyces, red wine vinegar, oak and roast malts.

Garden party at Rusovce. Thin body, highcarbonation. Moderation sourness, combination of mostly lactic and light acetic. Slightly caramelly, hints of chocolate. Moderate fruitiness though dried fruits, dark fruits. Easy drinking, very good.
