Ein unverwechselbar würziges, süffiges Märzen. Gehaltvoll und vollmundig im Geschmack, goldgelb in der Farbe. Ursprünglicher Biergeschmack ganz wie früher.

Seriously on the foul side. Lots of painted tin like old soup cans. Amber pour with ok head. Astringent end. Tap at Stoneys in DC.

Copper with a white head. Malty, lightly tangy, earth, sweet. Medium bodied. Ok, but not running on all cylinders.

Very well made German Marzen. Full bodied and caramel-like with the yeast flavours coming through the most, and are great. Gaumenkitzel in Berkeley. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330 ml bottle. Labeled as Dinkelacker Oktoberfestbier Marzen. 5.7 ABV. Dark Amber color topped by a moderate rocky beige head. Sweet caramel malt nose. Sweet toasted malt flavor, notes of caramel and baked bread. Some floral hops in finish. Fairly light in body. Notes of vanilla in finish, as well.

Sampled from a 11.2 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark caramel-brown color with a large creamy beige head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was malty, sweetish and had notes of toffee and tart fruits. The flavor was bitter, tart, fruity and bready. Medium length finish with lingering bitterness. Medium body. Meh.

16 oz can. Looks nice, dark copper color and a tall off white head. Some caramel in the aroma.Sweet malt but also a metallic quality. Flavor is not as full as many others but this is an ok beer.

*Old rating, best before 03.05.06. Malzig-getreidiges und erstaunlich fruchtiges Bier. Frisch, leicht malzig, fruchtig-herb mit mild-getreidige Nachgeschmack. Gar nicht mal schlecht.

Beer Store, Southhampton 11.2 ounce: Pours amber with a white head. Caramel and euro-lager smell. Taste is somewhat sweet. Very little hops. Kind of a grainy finish. Not terrible, but nothing special.
