bottle from Bièrerie Illkirch-Graffenstaden. Hazy golden with a white head. Grainy malty start, some dusty hops and a touch of fruit.

Hazy to cloudy medium golden colour, average frothy white head, good retention and lacing. Fruity nose, malty, orange peel, candy sugar, yeast. Taste medium sweet and bitter, fruity, herbal notes. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, aftertaste smooth dry bitter, fruity and earthy notes. Not your typical Bière de Garde but nice anyway because of its fruity freshness.

Sample from 33 cl. bottle. Hazy, golden-amber colour with a thin, off-white head. Sweet aroma with hay, bread, fruits and a spicy note. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes dry and fruity with caramel malts and floral hops. Neat.

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is estery, light fruity. Smooth, estery, slight fruity. Dry and toasted, malty. Bitter and slight herbal. Mild fruity.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes malt and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw and malt, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle@Papsoes - golden pour with good white head. Aroma and taste is medium sweet fruity and malty, some floral notes throughout, some slight spice in there. Ok

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy golden with a small, white head. Yeasty, spicy aroma. Medium body, sweet malts and fruit but then some phenols and metal come creeping in. Late bittering hops - actually quite bitter. But decent. 130914

330ml bottle from Saveur-Biere

Pours clear golden orange with a white head. Aroma of estery sweetness, yeast, spices, earthy notes and farmyard. Taste is ripe fruity, sweet, yeasty and earthy with some hints of honey. Finish is sweet and yeasty with some estery notes and earthy spiciness. Decent.

Bottle 330ml (Saveur)
Golden color, small white head. Light fruity, apple nose. Medium-bodied, crisp. Green apple, fruityness, alcohol, hoppyness in the finish. Notes of honey. Easy to drink for this ABV. Very Belgian.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes dunkelgoldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch fruchtig malzig, würzig, hefig. Geschmack fruchtig süß, würzig malzig, Honig.
