Small white head. Clear golden body. Caramelly papery aroma with raisiny notes. Strawy mealy papery taste with sugary notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish grassy herbal aftertaste with mealy notes. Decent. (0.5l bottle from a street kiosk in Moscow. Rated draft in 2006, at 2.5 then, too.)

(bottle) Clear golden colour with a frothy white and not much lasting head. Shy sweet grainy aroma. Light bodied, lively carbonated mouthfeel. Sweet and slightly acidic malty and corny taste with a short but harsh and rather unpleasant finish.

Straw colour. Slightly grainy, slighty grassy aroma. Light, clean taste. Quick finish. Bland. Hint of graininess and little else. It’s not even wet!

Bottled (BB 01/2005)
Pale lager color with foamy white head, lace. Hoppy nose. Mouthfeel starts with hoppy bitterness, then some sweet malt and then again bitter and oily aftertaste. Also quite warming though ABV is only 5%. This is more Bohemian Pilsener than Pale Lager and decent one.

Bottled. Well, I’ve swigged quite a bit of cheap Russian beers over the past few days. This one tends to the good side except for an odd brief hint of ammonia I got when sniffing. But then it went away. A nce golden pilsener color with a mild head. A pretty nice malt base with a good hop balance.

Pale and flat appearance from this beer. The flavour is lightly hopped with hints of wheat. Poor to average beer.
