This Intergalactical Imperial lager was brewed by Ben (Bridge Road Brewers, 50 Ford Street, Beechworth VIC 3747, Australia) & Urbain @ Struise, as a superb collaborative effort between both breweries and Simply Hops (Hop Pocket Lane, Paddock Wood, Tonbridge, Kent, TN12 6DQ, UK). While Ben shared his Australian Lager brewing techniques, Simply Hops procured us with Fresh Galaxy hop flowers.
Only 4 ingredients were used, Vleteren water, German pilsner malt, Australian Galaxy Hops and Weihenstephan yeast. This lager not only bottom fermented, but also matured on its own bed of C02 for six months.

Hazy yellow colored, medium off white head, decent lasting. Aroma is malt, caramel, bready, straw, bit of yeast, bit lemony. Taste is medium sweet caramel, bit sugary, straw-hay, crackers, medium- herbal bitterness, dryish finish, alcohol well hidden. Medium+ bodied, soft carbonation. Good, not a sugar/booze mix as most Imperial Pils.

At a tasting, small bubbly head, very cloudy palish orange color, woody spicy aroma with some shrubiness and hints of wax and yeast, flavor of shrubs and paper with bland fruitines and a little coarse bitterness. Bland and not too good.

hazy yellow colour, huge, slightly yellowish off-white head; aroma of mango, passion fruit, hints of citruses, bread and herbal-floral notes; taste of malty sweetness with intensive fruitiness (mango, citrusy notes, maybe passionfruit), grassy and slight herbal notes as well as spicy alcohol; excellent imperial pils

Bottle from Geers. Hazy yellow colour, white foam. Medium carbonation. Dry and bitter with sweet hints. Like a strong hoppy lager. Not bad but not my style.

750ml bottle @ ISKTR

Pours orange with a foamy head. Aroma of grass, hay, earthy notes and hints of bready malts. Taste is stingy, grassy and earthy with hints of hay and stuffy notes. Finish is malty, grainy and stingy with some earthiness and hay. Decent.
