This Intergalactical Imperial lager was brewed by Ben (Bridge Road Brewers, 50 Ford Street, Beechworth VIC 3747, Australia) & Urbain @ Struise, as a superb collaborative effort between both breweries and Simply Hops (Hop Pocket Lane, Paddock Wood, Tonbridge, Kent, TN12 6DQ, UK). While Ben shared his Australian Lager brewing techniques, Simply Hops procured us with Fresh Galaxy hop flowers.
Only 4 ingredients were used, Vleteren water, German pilsner malt, Australian Galaxy Hops and Weihenstephan yeast. This lager not only bottom fermented, but also matured on its own bed of C02 for six months.

Draught (Pipes of Scotland, Uppsala) - Hazy golden in colour. Bready and malty aroma with hints of citrus. Lemon, yeast, grain and a hint of peach can be detected. Doesn’t taste as strong as it is.

On tap at at Alvinne Craft Beer Fest in Vichte - Belgium March 2015 with markoijelena. Pours bright golden a bit hazy with a consistent head. Nice appearance tough! Nose: maltiness forward, honey background. Mouth: A hint of honey, hay, grains, easy drinking and adventurous lager. My friend mortlach would have loved this one.

Bottle shared during RBWG 2015 - Tampa. Pours clear yellow with a foamy white head. Sugary, with notes of cereal, grains, straw, white bread. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. More bready and grainy malt character to finish, vague citrus notes. OK.

Draught at Bishop’s Arms, Malmö, Gustav Adolf Torg
Hazy blond color with generous head. Very nice aroma, hop , grassy, some hay. Dry mouthfeel but apparently with enough body; good malt flavor, straws; strong grassy bitterness.
It feels like an Imperial Lager, bold, satisfying, well made.

A golden beer with a big and blond head. The aroma is fresh pure malts, fruits and citrusfruits. Taste has strong and rich maltyness, lemon, some mandarin, grass and at least medium bitterness, a grassy end. Medium+ bodied, pleasant and smooth, mild carbonation. Tasteful beer with the nice balance of malts, fruits, and bitterness. Dangerously drinkable.
