Sampled @ HaandBryggeriet Beer festival 2012. Dark brown body with a small tan head. Aroma has dark malt, chocolate, dry fruit, berries, wood and vinegar. Flavor is sweet and sour, malt, acidic fruit, chocolate and wood. What an irresistible combination. Nice body and good aftertaste, love it.

Bottle from Beer Mania, Brussels. It pours very dark brown, with a thin beige head. The nose is vinegar, tangy balsamic, lemon and sweet dark berry. The taste is quite metallic, balsamic vinegar, roasty, earth, lemon and berry, with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate-high carbonation. Ok, but nothing special.

Small brown head. Hazy opaque brown body. Earthy wooden vinegary aroma with fruity sugary notes. Dry-sweet-acidic earthy caramelly wooden taste with vinegary notes. Mid-bodied. Odd, metallic mouthfeel. Dry-acidic caramelly bready aftertaste with wooden rye notes. Nice and highly drinkable. (0.33l bottle shared by Ole_R.)

Bottle: Deep amber to black coloured with ruby sparks and a small and stable off-head, moderate sourish ( balsamico), toasty and molassy nose; moderate sourish-sweet flavour, quite soft, light to medium bodied; lingering sourish finish with many traces of balsamico and toasted malt. Very good…

33cl bottle shared with Dutchdrebus and Ansjelaah. Slight gusher, pretty good considering what we’re used to from Alvinne (see Alvinne Gaspar). Opaque dark brown, small to medium sized beige head. Aroma only has some sourness. Taste light to medium sour, very balanced and pretty nice. To me it’s a surprise, I quite like it! Medium body and soft but suitable carbo.

Bottle thx to benzai. Opague brown colour with small light brown head. Smells sour, brettanomyces, oak, red fruits. Tastes some ’kroepoek’, sweet and sour, fruity, deep. Full taste for its abv. Medium body, okay carbo.

Bottle. A dark brown beeer topped by a small, dense, beige head. The aroma has vinegar hints, some notes of dried fruits, berries and roasted malts, and it’s all quite weak. The flavor has pretty much the same elements as the aroma, berries, dried fruits, roasted malts and a touch of vinegar. Also some almost sour milk like notes. Medium to full body, dry and lightly sourish on the palate. Definitely less wild than expected, quite ordinary and boring actually. 110610
