On tap at Apollo in Copenhagen. Gold, haze, lasting head. Pretty tasty pilsner, maybe unfiltered, it’s ok, maybe needs a few more hops on end to be really interesting. No cardboard. Fine.

draft, hereford beefstou, cph. very dry taste, but strong and sweet, some hoppiness. okay pilsener. Commercial description wrong, as the beer is also served at selected hereford beefstou restaurants in denmark.

(Draught at Bryggeriet Apollo, Copenhagen, 26 March 2008) Golden amber colour with frothy, white head. Unfiltered and slightly hazy. Malty, rather citric nose with tropical fruit. Malty, slightly fruity taste with notes of tropical fruit and some strange sourish hints. Decent bitternes in the finish. A bit unclean, but decent danish pilsener.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is buttery, quite thick buttery. Flavour is soft and mellow malty again with a clear buttery note. Slight fruity note before a rather short finish. Strangely the beer isn’t offensive nor bad despite the dominant buttery notes. Mideocre brew with a deduction in overall due to the dominant buttery notes.

300ml draught at Apollo in Copenhagen. Slightly unclear, orange golden colour with only a small white ring of foam. Malty and a bit grainy to the nose. Sweet citric flavours. Quite well bodied (enjoyed in good company with Hildigöltur, 12.01.2007)

2006 - Flakhaven, Odense. Cloudy yellow beer. Grain, grass and roses aroma. Sweet malt flavour. Average beer that couldn’t bother anybody. 2.5
2010 - Flakhaven, Odense: Much cleaner with a fine malt character and some hops. A pleasure these days.
