On tap at CBC, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of smoked malt, some port wine notes and roasted malt. Flavour brings out heavy smoked malt, accentuated by the port wine barrels, and dark dried fruits. Quite smoky and complex, with a finish of roasted, smoky finish. Great stuff.

Sample at cbc 2013. Thin tan head. Clear black pour. Nuce smooth brew. The port notes go well with the porter.
