At the Tap/Brewery, Sunday 18th October 2020 after a cycle ride from home. Pours hazy dark brown with a big frothy head. A little caramel in amongst the usual wheatiness, a little bit thin otherwise fine.

Bottle: Hazy go cloudy , amber coloured, quickly collapsing off-white head, fruity-caramelly nose, wheat and yeast underneath; almost medium bodied, a bit fizzy, sweetish-sourish flavour with delicate bitterness; cacao in the drier chocolatey-wheaty finish. Not exciting, but O.K.…

(bottle) Hazy, chestnut-brown colour with a big and beige foamy head. Mildly toasted malty aroma with hints of caramel, bananas, dark grapes and a mildly phenolic spicy touch. Moderately sweet flavour with a tinge of sourness, light to medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Caramely malty and banana-fruity taste with a sweet and delicately bitter and spicy finish. They know how to brew a good and rounded Weizen. 15.XI.11
