Bottled. A hazy yellow beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

330ml bottle at home bought at Beer Store Vienna. Bottled 19.06.2015. BB 14.02.2016. yellow clear color, small white head. smells grains, elder flowers, bread, tobacco, light herbs. medium body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes tobacco, grains, some herbs, bread, lightly citric, some sweetness, only hints of elder flower noticeable in the background. finishes with bready and light herbal notes. only on the aftertaste a bit more elder flower notes. I was expecting this to be rather light and refreshing, but the mouthfeel and the malt notes are actually surprising heavy for the low ABV. I would have expected at least some more elder flowers notes. OKish beer, definitly nothing I would drink on a hot summer day though (if only I knew beforehand).

Tap at 5. Wiener Bierfest. Aroma is flowery, moderately hoppy, good. Clear golden colour. White head. Taste is somewhat vegetable (paprika) but not too much. Overall easily drinkable despite its flaws.

Bottle from Grand Cru, Vienna. Golden, slightly hazy body, with a big, frothy, white head. Aroma mainly of elder, also some citrus, flowers, grains, grass. Taste with about the same aromas, but with less elder and some herbs. Mouthfeel is light, slick, with a moderate carbonation and it finishes grainy, with some herbs and elder. Not bad, but overall nothing special. Like a (good) Pale Lager with additional elder aroma. Refreshing, easy to drink and with a sessionable ABV, decent summer beer.

Bottle from Geiserich, many thanks! Geschmack fruchtig, grasig, leicht hopfig, etwas Holunder, Gewürze.
