Sample in the brewery bar on AlexanderPlatz, Berlin on Sunday 14th May 2023. Murky brown/red, no head, looked mean! It's not a nice beer to be honest, sweet and very boozy, Whisky to dominant for my palate, some berry like flavours also trying to join in, but failing.

0,33 flaske fra importkofferten, delt med skibsreden på Holmens aktivitetsdag 2.påskedag 2019: lett uklar rødlig kobber med fint skum som varer. Superlekker aroma og smak med plenty av tørkede frukter, sviskeplommer, korinter, engelsk appelsinmarmelade og noe urteaktig. Flott dybde og en velkalibrert bitterhet sørger for balansen. En utmerket avslutning på en vellykket bryggedag.

Bottle shared with JMD at HNB 22.04.19. Translucent reddish copper. Off-white head. Aroma of vanilla, red berries and soft Whisky. Similar, and sweet, taste. Round mouthfeel. Good!

Sweet vanilla and barrel-woody and boozy nose. Taste is sweet, intense, vanilla and creme brulee. Silky and smooth mouthfeeling. Good!

03-04-18 // tap at Braufactum Berlin. Unfiltered brown. Small head. Sweet malty, minimal bourbon nose. Dry sweet malty, raisins, toffe. Mild whisky barrel. Nice.

Nose is quite neutral. The beer starts intense. Very light in body, but intense and deep. Vanilla, wood. Hints of smooth whiskey. Soft. No taste of the 11.5%. Smooth sweetish. Milk chocolate. Whiskey-Truffel. Intense thick. The aftertaste is long, fresh, smooth, not too bitter, soft, vanilla, great!!!

Sampled @ Finest Spirits and Beer Convention Bochum 2014: Rötlichbraunes Bier mit ordentlicher weißer Schaumkrone. Geruch holzig, Karamell, leicht alkoholisch. Geschmack süß, holzig, Karamell, reife Früchte.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass brownish, nice small head. Sharp alcoholic aroma. Starts quite strong, some alcoholic notes. Sharp-malty. Some nutty notes in the background. Finish warming, strong-malty. Quite interesting, but could be more complex.
