In my opinion, it is a decent irish stout, easy to drink, roasted malt, coffee, a bit watery, lovely black color, 28.10.16, at Prélaz, purchased at Paris.

Old rating from 2010. 500ml bottle from M & S in Jersey. Pours a dark red with a white head. Aromas & tastes of coffee, chocolate & roasted malt. Medium body. Dry mildly bitter finish. Decent stout

Bottle. Black pour, beige to tanned head. Punchy roast malt aroma. Taste again very roasted with a burnt bitterness, coffee, semi sweet. There is a light fruity and hoppy finish and combined with a nice smooth mouthfeel it balances the beer more than I expected at first. Good.

50cl bottle pours a thick black, creamy beige head.  Nose is bang on for the style, malt and some dark bread, caramel, some molasses, some oat.  Flavor all the same with a little brown sugar.  Creamy, chalky, just off dry finish.  Absolutely bang on for the style.  7 5 7 5 13

Bottle Kinda heritage from my brother. Well beyond bb date. Still drinkable though. I would not call it full bodied. But it's fair enough.

Near opaque beer, decent head. Light aroma of toasty malt. Flavour has toasty malt, a little chocolate. A nutty hint. Not a lot else going on but honestly it's better than I expected. A very basic but drinkable stout here.
