Unser Knallhütter Pilsener erinnert an die Geschichte der Hütt-Brauerei, als die Knallhütte noch Vorspannhilfe für Pferdewagen und Brauereiausschank war. Klassische Pilsener Brauart und eine lange, kalte Lagerung lassen einen vollen, kräftigen Körper und eine feine hopfenaromatische Würze entstehen.

"Knallhütter Pilsener", Flasche (50 cl) von der Getränkequelle, Fritzlar, 2.8.2018. - Goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase recht derbe, leicht chlorige Hopfenherbe mit wenig aromatischer Zitronenschale. - Antrunk schlank mit plastikartig künstlicher, teigiger Malzsüße und nur milder, stumpf zitroniger Hopfenherbe mit chemischen Fehlaromen. Schlank, weich im Mund. Im Abgang etwas mehr pilstypische Bittere, aber auch Plastik, Scheuerpulver und deplazierte Malzsüße. Ranzig bitterer Nachtrunk. - Billig und lieblos gehopftes Pilsener - haben die Knallhütter keine Ahnung oder bloß keine Lust, gutes Bier zu brauen?
Neuverkostung (zum letzten Mal, bevor die Knallhütter Biere als Lohnbiere nach Brakel wandern), jetzt als "Knallhütter", Flasche von Ratio, Baunatal, 16.11.2025. - Ein wenig besser als oben beschrieben aber immer noch lieblos; bestenfalls Industrie-Durchschnitt.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond and short, not very persistent frothy head. Doughy pale malty aroma with hints of cardboard and cautious floral hops. Mildly sweet and restrained bitter flavour, light bodied with a calm, if not tame carbonation. Quite papery and slightly doughy malty base with shy hoppy spots far in the background; slim, papery malty and restrained hoppy finish. 04.X.16

Klares goldenes Bier mit einer fingerbreiten weißen schaumkrone. Geruch floral hopfig, Getreide. Geschmack dezent hopfig, getreidig malzig, gering bitter.

0,33 l bottle, and, like the raters below, thanks to kappldav123 for the bottle! Clear golden in the glass, mighty white head. Typical Pilsener like. Starts with a pleasant bitterness, light grainy, dry and metallic hints. Little bit citrus in the aftertaste. Nothing special.

bottle, kindly donated by kappldav123! Clear yellow, small white head. Dusty hop aroma. Light-bodied, shy malty base with some dry hops, not very aromatic but quite decent.

The beer is smooth, slightly bitter and a bit mouldy. Dusty in the mainpart with a little bit undefined bitterness. The aftertaste is smooth, bitter-malty with a mouldy dusty layer.
