Our 05|09 IPA - Vienna 6.7% is a slight different take on an IPA. We use 95% Vienna barley malt that is kilned slightly longer to provide a bright red hue and a richer, fuller bodied finish. We have further enhanced the malty red fruit character with a blend of Mosaic, Citra, Simcoe, and Centennial hops from the US.

Bottle (from Ales by Mail). Hazy orange colour, small white head. Aroma is yeast, citrus, some berries and mild tartness. Flavour is citrus, mango, mild tartness and some slight sweet malty tones. Feels like the yeast is up to something.

Bottled 330ml (AbM)
Hazy orange color, small white head, some lace. Sticky, yeasty, citrus and gooseberry in the aroma . Medium-bodied. Citrus, mango, gooseberry. Sweetish fruity finish. A kind of weird unbalance here. Not my favourite BBN. Bottled 17.2.2015.

Old Fountain. Keg. Hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth with mild fine carbonation. Light malts, thin creamy sweetness. Superb second half of grapes, sweet floralness, peach and mango. Modest hop spice. A bare whisper of something estery. Trace of candy fruits. Semi dry finish. Delicious!

Some spice. Ripe fruit sweetness. Smooth, and airy. Finishes resin bitter, with a vanilla sweet close. Very nice.
