Our first beer. A hoppy pale ale with a straightforward malt character that really lets the citrus flavours from US Citra hops shine through. A refreshing session beer for summer days. Available on cask in fined or unfined form.

Cask at Festival der Bierkultur 2015. Floral smooth body. Fresh, malty. Round and smooth. Fresh with a nice round floral aftertaste with still nice Ale-characteristics.

Cask-conditioned at the Penny, Bristol April 2015. Golden with a slick of a white head. Sweet tangerine aroma, with some leafy hops. Flavour had more fruits, biscuity malts and a touch of jarring sulphur in the finish. Ok.

Cask at Craft Beer Co, Brixton, London. A hazy golden coloured pour with a medium white fluffy head on top. Hoppy, citrus aroma. This ale was in excellent condition, tasted hoppy, citrus, grapefruit. Would make a great session ale, nice one.

11th September 2012
Cask at the Craft. Light haze on this gold beer, tidy white head. Palate is a little dry and slightly soft. Mild hop skunk. Decent tangerine - lemon citrus with a little grapefruit. Finishes dry but with juicy citrus. Easy supping fresh ale - just a tad too dry.

Cask at Craft Beer Co, London on 12th September 2012. Gold with thin white film and initial lace. Hoppy and mildly spicy aroma. Grass and grapefruit citrus in-mouth; bitterness develops in finish whilst grapefruit lingers. Although rather on the ’thin’ side for a 4.1 it is nevertheless pleasantly refreshing, with a light body and mouthfeel.
