"Acquired at Lebanon Co-Op (Centerra Pkwy) for $3.50 a bottle Purchased in December 10th Label reads: 17FJ 15:26 (Not sure what this means) Poured into a Riedel Snifter Glass Pouring Temp - 39 F Drinking Temp - 45 F A - Two finger head produced. Dark ale but, against the light you see a bold amber color showing through with lots of floating bits of yeast. I wasn’t aware this was bottle conditioned until after pouring it. Head subsided in 20 seconds to a thin layer of foam S - Smell is very Belgian. I’m mistakenly thinking this is a cross between Golden Draak and Kriek Boon! I smell a lot of cherries and that great Belgian yeast. I think the Kriek smell I’m picking up is the similarity to a very sour Lambic which this is not. T - Bland. That’s the only way to put this. It’s close to an unflavored Lambic but so distant that it’s not. I get the notes of sour but no fruitiness comes through. I’m not a fan of the taste. Too bitter with almost no body at all. The first drink is like that of hard water from a tap and then finished with a sour punch on the way out. Not very good. M - The carbonation flares up as soon as I do one swish and overtakes all liquid in my mouth. Basically, the beer transforms from liquid to bubbles with a single swish. This is still a very light beer and the bubbles are super tart! O - The bottle looked promising, the smell and appearance got me excited but the taste was a big let down. I love Lambic beers and I sort of love unflavored Lambics but this is just not a beer for me. I can’t give it over a 3 and that’s disappointing."

On tap at Bottleworks, pours a hazy orange amber with a medium white head. Aroma is very sweet for a sour, with no shortage of sour fruits. Flavour is cloyingly sweet for a sour (more than from the bottle apparently), subtle tart fruits and sugar. Not a big fan, but I'd be willing to retry from a bottle.

bottle pours dark cherry to brown with a big initial head that fades to a finger thick white head. Aroma is tart acidic funk. Barrel elements as well, damp wood, leather. Flavor is pretty mellow, lots of moldy wood, oak, big cherry notes. Good stuff.

Bottle @ home. Dark maroon appearance with a very lively tan head. Tart, cran raspberry, lightly acetic aroma. Mildly tart, cherry, light cranberry, lightly sour flavor. Not bad.

Not a bad sour, but one that grows much too sweet on the finish. Looks awful as well, pouring like flat Cheerwine; good thing the nose is tart and sour with the mildest hint of funk. But the taste, while good and tart and oaky at first, grows saccharine as it warms, cloyingly so, until you’re left wishing the beer didn’t taste so much like a soft drink. A proper training sour, but one that grows quickly tiresome. Drank as "Monk’s Cafe Flemish Sour Red Ale."

Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty funky aroma with weak yeasty hints. Fruity sweetish and slightly sour flavor. Has a fruity sour funky finish.

On draught at Vintage Estate in Boardman, served in a snifter. The beer is a reddish-mahogany color with a minimal off-white head that disappears quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of sour cherries and yeast. Medium body with a moderately tart fruit character and flavors of sweet yeast and a touch of oak. The finish is fruity with a tart cherry aftertaste. Decent overall.
