500ml bottle. Jet black colour with small to average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige to tan head. Chocolately, nutty, roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of white coffee, hazelnut syrup, a spicy touch of chicory, fruity overtones with blueberry touch. Taste is roasty dark malty, slightly nutty, minimally spicy, hints of white coffee, a touch of chicory, cautious fruity overtones with a blueberry touch. Super-soft, smooth, silky, minimally sticky palate, creamy texture, soft and gentle carbonation. Well balanced, superbly controlled sweetness, could be a tad more intense.

bottle from eBrowarium. Deep brown, almost black. Chocolatey with some coffee, not too dry. Quite nice.

Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with small light tan head. Clear aroma of roast, with notes of coffee and malt and touches of hops. Bitter, roasty and coffeelike flavour with sweetish notes of malt and lactose and touches of hops. Roasty and coffeelike aftertaste with lactic hints. Well-balanced and nice.

Bottle, 5.0%. Good coffee aroma, hint of maltose. Black colour. Small frothy brown head. The flavour has a good, distinct coffee note with some lactose that gives an impression of creamed coffee. Slightly sweet but balanced with a faint jammy hoppiness. Long coffee aftertaste. A little thin mouthfeel but that is all right considering the ABV.

50cl bottle. Pours pitch black with a mid-sized creamy beige head. Aroma of sweet chocolate, coffee and vanilla. Taste of dry chocolate, vanilla, cocoa, medium body, good stuff!

Barwa niemal czarna, beżowa niezbyt obfita, w miarę trwała piana. W aromacie kawa, laktoza, lekka paloność. W smaku kawa z mlekiem, niska kwaskowość i pełnia, brakuje konkretniejszej słodyczy, trochę wodniste. Goryczka raczej niska, ale też nie miałaby co kontrować, gdyby była większa. Wysycenie niskie, bardzo dobre. Brakuje przede wszystkim pełni, trochę niewykorzystany potencjał, zwłaszcza, że SzałPiw zawsze mi się kojarzył z dość słodkimi i pełnymi w smaku piwami, ale nigdy ciężkimi i mulącymi. Byłoby bardzo dobre, gdyby podkręcić ekstrakt, a tak jest "tylko" niezłe.

Butelka 0.5l (16.04.2016). Glapa ma ładną, czarną i nieprzejrzystą barwę, brązową pianę, niezbyt obfitą i trwała, szybko redukującą się do cienkiej warstewki. W aromacie delikatna nuta kawy z słodkim akcentem laktozy. Podobnie w smaku gdzie przewodzi kawa, ciut paloności i słodka nuta laktozy oraz bardzo delikatny kwasek w posmaku. Piwo lekkie, półsłodkie z wyraźnym wytrawnym finiszem ale gładkie w odczuciu, pijalne. Bardzo fajny sesyjny stout.
