This refreshing American pale ale with a malty body, sharp and crisp flavour and a fruity aftertaste is a must for every thirsty drinker. A subtile spicy aroma and a very startling bitterness make Krab a characteristic but flexible barley beer.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus. Hazy yellow to light orange color, average sized quickly diminishing off-white head. Smell and taste malts, some bitterness, a bit dusty, lightly herbal. Quite dull. Decent body, lightly fizzy carbonation. Meh.

Thuis, fles. Van Alsem. Erg lekker blondje, stroef leer, kalk, schelpen, citrusvruchten, lekker rond mondgevoel. Zo goed als geen schuim maar wel prikkeltjes.

Bottle at home. Clear golden with fizzy short lasting white head. Sweet malts, light bready and some dry biscuits. Grassy and soft herbs, light spicy yeast and there’s a bit of a chalky touch towards the finish. Light sweet and very light bitter. Under medium bodied with fizzy carbonation.
